Concert participatif - From auditory attention to listening to music

  • Concert

As part of Festival ManiFeste and of the  CNRS Échappées inattendues series

What makes our attention drawn to one voice rather than another? Or, on the contrary, what causes our auditory focus to drift and our imagination to wander? In short, how do composers play with our attention? This concert-experience explores the mysteries of musical listening and invites the audience to participate in real time in a scientific experiment using their mobile phones.
