Within the framework of the Science and Music Day, a Young Researcher Prize is organized in partnership with the AFIM (Association Française d'Informatique Musicale) and financed by the Fondation Rennes 1. This prize rewards each year the work of a young researcher on the theme Science and Music. The subjects can be computer science, signal processing, acoustics, psychoacoustics, musical interfaces, sound design, musicology, etc. The prize was awarded on Saturday, October 9 during the Science and Music Day 2021, in Rennes, France, https://jsm.irisa.fr/
Congratulations to Benjamin Matuszewski for the Science and Music Day 2021 Young Researcher Award, for his work "Distributed musical systems and Web technologies: towards new paradigms of collective musical interaction".
He is a researcher at Ircam, in the ISMM team, UMR STMS, directed by Frédéric Bevilacqua.
