Torsten Herrmann

Torsten Herrmann (Germany, 1981) studied composition at the Hanns Eisler Hochschule für Musik Berlin with Hanspeter Kyburz and at the Cnsmdp with Frédéric Durieux as a part of the Erasmus exchange program. He has worked with international ensembles such as the Ensemble Modern, the Ensemble intercontemporain, and the Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart. In 2013, he was a finalist in the Queen Elisabeth competition. He is currently interested in questions of metric instrumentation and electronic instrumentation in real-time.
